Osborne Macharia is a self-taught visual artist born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya and based in Vancouver, Canada. His creative approach falls in the genre known as Afrofuturism, which he describes as:

An artistic repurpose of the post-colonial African narrative through integrating historical elements, present culture and future aspirations of people of colour by using Narrative, Fantasy and Fiction.

His work has been featured by many brands, including Vogue, Marvel, Marie Claire and Coke, and at award shows like Cannes, Communication Arts, The One Show and Lurzer’s Archive ‘Best 200 Digital Artists’.
